This September, Burkhardt Heating, Cooling, Plumbing & Electric is giving back to the community that supports us every day. Whether you’re a first responder, medical worker, veteran, or someone who went above and beyond during Milwaukee’s recent flooding, we want to honor the heroes who make our neighborhoods stronger.
How to nominate your hero
Submitting a nomination is simple:
• Fill out the form below between September 1 and September 30. • Share the nominee’s name, contact information, and address. • Tell us their story — why they deserve to win and how they’ve impacted the community.
Who is eligible?
• First responders (police, firefighters, EMTs) • Medical workers (nurses, doctors, hospital staff) • Veterans or active-duty military • Neighbors and community members who made a difference during the recent flooding • Nominees must live within Burkhardt’s service area to qualify.
How Burkhardt can make a difference
All valid nominations will be reviewed by Burkhardt’s leadership panel. We’ll consider:
• The nominee’s role in the community • Their actions and impact, especially during the recent flooding • Their story of service, kindness, or dedication
The winner will be announced during the first week of October, and installation will be scheduled shortly after.
