BEWARE!! Do not give your credit card info to them over the phone. They overcharged me w/o telling me what they did and why. Then once I complained about the bill, they sent a invoice weeks later instead of after the service. And lied to me stating I gave them “credit limit.” No human being would give any business a credit limit. Do not trust them!!

I had my AC unit checked to be sure all is running for the season . I have had units checked for a few years now and it is peace of mind . Elliot was our prof this time and he did our winter work as well . He is very knowledgeable and does a great job . I took his recommendation for the cleaning of my heating vents since it was overdue and the photos taken made my decision for me.

Excellent servicing for past 7 years of my heating and air conditioning units. Burnhardt also installed a new furnace in 2019. Great custom metal work by Dan. You can’t tell that the new furnace has been replaced. Knowledgeable and friendly personnel. Elliot and Shawn will find ways to keep your units operating to their full serviceable life and beyond. Elliott came out on time and was friendly but professional. He was there for an air conditioner tune-up and did a very complete inspection with photographs to show me parts that should be replaced. He explained everything very well. And a possible option to get a new unit and why. The unit is 25 years old. There was not any pressure and he gave me the prices. I was very satisfied with Elliott's work and if I have the work done would want Elliott and Burkhardt's to do the work.

Scheduled my appointment for 3-5 online got a text saying the service tech would be there between 1-3pm for some reason. I called and asked why my appointment was moved up because I wouldn’t be home until 3 and the lady I talked to said no problem I’ll make sure they are there by 3 at the earliest. I get a call at 1:18 saying the service guys were close and would be there soon. I was confused since my appointment was 3-5pm like I had confirmed on the phone. I tried calling 3 times and no one picked up until the 3rd call I made. I told the lady I was confused why the techs showed up at my house because I had called earlier saying I scheduled it from 3-5 not 1-3 she said their normal operating hours ended at 3?? How was I able to schedule my appointment then? Also since I have a camera doorbell I was able to hear the techs talk poorly about me and laugh at me so I will not be using this service ever.

I was having issues with my furnace/thermostat, I called and was able to set up a diagnostic appointment for later the same afternoon. Kelly, the service tech, was able to quickly diagnose the problem and go over several options going forward. Initial service was on a Friday and I was able to get a follow up appointment booked for Monday.

Used Burkhardt to come and fix AC as compressor wasn’t kicking on. Serviceman came on time and fixed capacitor. Service was great. Price falls in with all others. Unit is not new but will last now for a few more year.

On contacting Burkhardt Heating & Cooling, I spoke to Rachel, who was extremely polite and friendly. She sent Chris Borner to examine my furnace and he was also polite and friendly… and more importantly, he was professional and did NOT try to gouge me. While here, he gave me a totally honest assessment, which I really appreciate. I found them both a pleasure to deal with and will have them do ALL necessary repairs. I am also impressed with the fact they are priced reasonably. I highly recommend Burkhardt Heating & Cooling.

And glad to know that water heater is due for replacement due to leaking. My water heater is also old and replacement is the solution before my basement gets flooded. My furnace started making this weird airplane kind of noise (here n there-when the heat would kick ON) and it was older & shabby & getting cold. So i just had Burkhart come to give us a free estimate on what a new one would cost. Doug asked my home comfort needs & went over the options and we worked a whole house humidifier in the installation package as well as a new thermostat.This is a great company with genuine people & I look forward to hopefully adding central air later this year.

They were very professional however their equipment used to clean the ducts is lacking. They brought in their "state of the art" vacuum that was very light in weight and light on power. It might be ok to dust your ducts out, but not really clean them out. There was still a decent amount of debris left in the ducts after they were finished, but at least most of the dust was gone.

Customer Service was very professional. That is where the good stuff ends. I had 3 different service professionals with 3 very different diagnosis. I am out a lot of money and my 2 year old furnace still isn’t fixed. Advised me to call We Energies about meter and regulator?

My Aunt had a no heat issue and had Burkhardt come out for a service fee of 149.95. They found failed secondary heat exchanger. She contacted me because they wanted 600.00 to replace part and felt pressured to replace a 12 year old furnace.Did some checking and part and labor are covered by Carrier/Bryant. Contacted two other Bryant dealers and both said only service fee cost to confirm failed part.Thanks to Affordable Heating for fixing her unit.Repair cost= Affordable 89.00+taxBurkhardt 750.00+taxCall anyone but burkhardt

Called on Burkhardt twice in the last month, first to install a whole home humidifier and then to fix my furnace which needed a new gas valve. The gas valve they installed at first was somewhat defective but still worked (something about calibrating it). They could've told me it was done and just moved on but instead made sure to get a replacement part that worked fully and re-installed that. They are responsive, professional and provide high quality honest service. Highly recommended.

Burkhardt installed a new boiler a few years ago. This appointment was for a check up and servicing. They were able to accommodate our schedule. Kelly called ahead and arrived on time. He answered all our questions and concerns and explained what he’d done. He also fixed a small vibration in one of the pipes.

I am very very happy with the service provided me by Chris, who is with Burkhardt. I wanted my fall furnace checkup done. He was to come between 10 and noon. He called me to let me know he was coming about 15 minutes before arrival. He came at 10:00. He was cordial, business-like, friendly and efficient. He checked everything over and did the work, replaced the filter, explained to me that all was well, answered several question I had, etc. I could not be happier. He went above and beyond the basics . He reviewed the settings with the thermostat and changed those that needed to be changed. Just wish I had asked him to change the battery in the thermostat but forgot to ask. I give him a 5 star for service and personal qualities. Elliot was with him as well but worked downstairs and we didn't really communicate. Very nice person from what I could tell.

Hi guys, I am writing my first bad review because I’ve never experienced a worse case of price gouging and unprofessional management.I needed to get two steam radiators serviced and it was replacing air vents (HVAC equivalent of replacing a light bulb) and fixing a knob on the valve into the radiator.They were very nice and responsive on the phone but i realized this was smoke and mirrors.Tech no showed the first day and 3 hours late the second. (This is more nature of industry though so I get it) He only fixed one of the radiators which took less than one hour.I was told they’d call if price was over $300.00 they did not call and my bill was $315.Then he came back (note that the tech was a nice guy) and serviced the second one. Again, I did not receive a call (nor a quote) and this time my bill was just under $500.00I tried to call the manager and he was very rude and called me a scammer and a liar. I unfortunately was rude in return.I think he thought I was some big name landlord when in reality i relocated for my job and had to fill my place for less than what it costs to own.My recommendation is if you go through these guys make sure to get a quote in writing so if you have to speak with management they won’t call you a liar.

I have an old boiler and it has been performing just fine, but needed an inspection since it’s been a couple years. The gentleman arrived in the time frame he mentioned he would. Even gave my husband a call when he was on his way. He was courteous and professional + efficient. In and out within a very reasonable amount of time. So long as his diagnosis holds true, I would recommend to friends and family. I will be sure to update in a few months time so you have my final conjecture. Otherwise, great work all around!

I found Burkhardt H&C a very responsive, courteous and affordable company. We used them for a furnace tune-up after receiving a flyer for a special in the mail. I appreciated their attention to customer service including their reminder call about my appointment and coming on time. Our friendly and professional service person, Dennis, wore a mask in our home and presented us with reasonable recommendations. I would highly recommend their services!
