0ur heat had gone out and we called Burkhardt and they had a technician , Kelly, over about two hours later. He wore a mask the entire time. Kelly was friendly, courteous and had the problem solved in a short amount of time.

And glad to know that water heater is due for replacement due to leaking. My water heater is also old and replacement is the solution before my basement gets flooded. My furnace started making this weird airplane kind of noise (here n there-when the heat would kick ON) and it was older & shabby & getting cold. So i just had Burkhart come to give us a free estimate on what a new one would cost. Doug asked my home comfort needs & went over the options and we worked a whole house humidifier in the installation package as well as a new thermostat.This is a great company with genuine people & I look forward to hopefully adding central air later this year.

They were very professional however their equipment used to clean the ducts is lacking. They brought in their "state of the art" vacuum that was very light in weight and light on power. It might be ok to dust your ducts out, but not really clean them out. There was still a decent amount of debris left in the ducts after they were finished, but at least most of the dust was gone.

Customer Service was very professional. That is where the good stuff ends. I had 3 different service professionals with 3 very different diagnosis. I am out a lot of money and my 2 year old furnace still isn’t fixed. Advised me to call We Energies about meter and regulator?

My Aunt had a no heat issue and had Burkhardt come out for a service fee of 149.95. They found failed secondary heat exchanger. She contacted me because they wanted 600.00 to replace part and felt pressured to replace a 12 year old furnace.Did some checking and part and labor are covered by Carrier/Bryant. Contacted two other Bryant dealers and both said only service fee cost to confirm failed part.Thanks to Affordable Heating for fixing her unit.Repair cost= Affordable 89.00+taxBurkhardt 750.00+taxCall anyone but burkhardt

Called on Burkhardt twice in the last month, first to install a whole home humidifier and then to fix my furnace which needed a new gas valve. The gas valve they installed at first was somewhat defective but still worked (something about calibrating it). They could've told me it was done and just moved on but instead made sure to get a replacement part that worked fully and re-installed that. They are responsive, professional and provide high quality honest service. Highly recommended.

Burkhardt installed a new boiler a few years ago. This appointment was for a check up and servicing. They were able to accommodate our schedule. Kelly called ahead and arrived on time. He answered all our questions and concerns and explained what he’d done. He also fixed a small vibration in one of the pipes.

I am very very happy with the service provided me by Chris, who is with Burkhardt. I wanted my fall furnace checkup done. He was to come between 10 and noon. He called me to let me know he was coming about 15 minutes before arrival. He came at 10:00. He was cordial, business-like, friendly and efficient. He checked everything over and did the work, replaced the filter, explained to me that all was well, answered several question I had, etc. I could not be happier. He went above and beyond the basics . He reviewed the settings with the thermostat and changed those that needed to be changed. Just wish I had asked him to change the battery in the thermostat but forgot to ask. I give him a 5 star for service and personal qualities. Elliot was with him as well but worked downstairs and we didn't really communicate. Very nice person from what I could tell.

Hi guys, I am writing my first bad review because I’ve never experienced a worse case of price gouging and unprofessional management.I needed to get two steam radiators serviced and it was replacing air vents (HVAC equivalent of replacing a light bulb) and fixing a knob on the valve into the radiator.They were very nice and responsive on the phone but i realized this was smoke and mirrors.Tech no showed the first day and 3 hours late the second. (This is more nature of industry though so I get it) He only fixed one of the radiators which took less than one hour.I was told they’d call if price was over $300.00 they did not call and my bill was $315.Then he came back (note that the tech was a nice guy) and serviced the second one. Again, I did not receive a call (nor a quote) and this time my bill was just under $500.00I tried to call the manager and he was very rude and called me a scammer and a liar. I unfortunately was rude in return.I think he thought I was some big name landlord when in reality i relocated for my job and had to fill my place for less than what it costs to own.My recommendation is if you go through these guys make sure to get a quote in writing so if you have to speak with management they won’t call you a liar.

I have an old boiler and it has been performing just fine, but needed an inspection since it’s been a couple years. The gentleman arrived in the time frame he mentioned he would. Even gave my husband a call when he was on his way. He was courteous and professional + efficient. In and out within a very reasonable amount of time. So long as his diagnosis holds true, I would recommend to friends and family. I will be sure to update in a few months time so you have my final conjecture. Otherwise, great work all around!

I found Burkhardt H&C a very responsive, courteous and affordable company. We used them for a furnace tune-up after receiving a flyer for a special in the mail. I appreciated their attention to customer service including their reminder call about my appointment and coming on time. Chris came out to do a yearly tune up on our heat and air. He was punctual, professional, knowledgeable and extremely thorough. He took his time to meticulously test each unit to check for efficiency and problems. Called for service. Scheduled for later that day. Arrived on time and was courteous and friendly.Looked at the furnace. Attempted repair.Was told that the part needed replacing. Furnace was old so part would be between $1500 and $1700 if they could find it and it might take some time. Since that was expensive I could get a new furnace for $4200.I said i would have to let him know.When I got to my computer i found the part instantly for $250.Capital Heating is offering a new furnace and central Air for $3700Paid $200+ for diagnostic and attempted rip off. Feel ripped off and will be sure to tell everyone of my experience.

I have used a couple different companies to service my Heating and AC. Price gouging was an ongoing problem with the other companies. I called Burkhardt and they charged me $25 less for my filter. They also taught me how to replace my Aprilaire 501 filter so I can save even more money in the future. There is a lot to be said for trust and confidence in a company. Burkhardt has won my business because they are professional, on time, honest & fair. I suggest giving them a call before your next maintenance call and see for yourself!

They did show up quickly, same day. However, they were about fifty dollars higher on service call than similar competators. Plus, they misdiagnosed my system. Wouldn't call them if you have a zone heating systems. They wanted to replace it for over 600$ I was able to get it repaired for $150 which was ironically the same amount I was charged for nothing with Burkhardt. Was surprised and disappointed because they came highly recommend.
